Detailed description

The ICOM IC-M410BB consists of a CommandMic™ and a black box unit. All operating functions, including DSC, can be performed using the CommandMic™ HM-195. For example, the black box can be installed behind a leaf and up to 18.3 meters away from the CommandMic™ (two optional OPC-1541 cables are required for installation at this distance).

Install up to two CommandMic™ HM-195 control units onboard and use them as complete radios and intercom devices for easy and fast onboard communication.

NMEA2000 and NMEA0183 Compatibility
The NMEA 2000™ interface enables simple plug-and-play data communication and establishes a connection with other navigation devices, such as a multifunction display (MFD). The radio is capable of transmitting GNSS (GPS) position, DSC call, and radio channel to other devices. It also features an NMEA0183 interface with 38,400 baud to allow connection with older navigation systems.

Active Noise Cancellation
Active noise cancellation technology eliminates background digital noise when both transmitting and receiving sounds. This ensures clear communication even in noisy marine environments.

Integrated Class D DSC System with "DISTRESS" Button for Lifesaving
The integrated Class D DSC (Digital Selective Calling) function can save lives in emergency situations. By simply pressing the "DISTRESS" button, the system sends digital distress information to the coast guard and/or other vessels. Additionally, the DSC monitoring function continuously monitors the DSC channel (channel 70) to ensure greater safety and security.

Megaphone with Speaker
An integrated amplifier with a 13-watt output boosts the audio output for an external speaker. The one-way RX megaphone function allows you to monitor radio traffic on deck or in the tower through the megaphone speaker. You can also play foghorn signals through the megaphone.
