Engine groups

Choose the cable series, then the length in feet and metres. Check the engine model and year, control generation, end fittings and travel: engine brand alone does not guarantee compatibility. The same product pages are available by engine, cable manufacturer or model.

Nominal ordering length; this is not a separate sheath measurement. Check the marking on the existing cable and do not calculate sheath length by subtracting travel.

For a new installation, follow the actual route from control to engine; add 3 ft (0.91 m) for outboard movement and round up to the next commercial length. When replacing a correctly installed cable, do not add the allowance again.
