Detailed description

Multiflex EEC-014 mechanical throttle and shift cable for installations compatible with BRP / Evinrude / Johnson / OMC ≥1979. Select the control connection and generation as well as the engine brand.

The EDGE range uses a coated flexible core to reduce friction along curved routes.

The length in feet is the nominal commercial length of the complete cable, not the black conduit length or control stroke. 1 foot = 0.3048 m. Separate conduit length is not published. For replacement, use the length marked on the old cable and compare both ends. For a new installation, measure route A+B from the control to the engine; for outboards, the Multiflex guide adds 3 feet for engine movement and rounds up to the next foot. Do not add this allowance again to an existing cable length.

Check terminals, mounting points, engine and control model and year. Family compatibility does not cover every engine of the listed brands. This is not a steering cable.
