The IC-M25 EVO is an enhanced version of the extremely popular IC-M25 floating marine VHF handheld transceiver. The IC-M25 EVO features an improved grip texture for easier handling and larger buttons for simpler operation. It also incorporates a new power-saving Eco mode that provides approximately 14 hours of operating time, representing a roughly 30% improvement. A USB Type-C™ charging port is also included. The IC-M25 EVO retains its compact and lightweight body, as well as the industry-leading Float'n Flash™ and submersible design.

If the IC-M25 EVO is accidentally dropped into the water, it floats, flashes, and sounds an alarm, reducing the risk of loss during water activities. Icom has led the marine handheld radio industry with this technology since the introduction of the IC-M33 in 2006.

A universal USB Type-C charging port has also been adopted, and a power-saving function called "Eco Mode" has been added, allowing for approximately 14 hours of operation.
