Internal communication between the mobile phone and the VHF radio is also possible. The ICOM IC-M510E AIS VHF DSC transceiver with DSC digital selective calling features an integrated AIS receiver, a wide-angle color TFT LCD screen, and a sleek design, among many other features. The ICOM IC-M510 also supports a second traditional wired station. The IC-M510 has NMEA200 and NMEA0183, as well as PA (Public Address) functionality, but requires the CT-M500 interface, which connects to the IC-M510 via Wi-Fi.
