Standard Horizon GX1850 VHF Radio with GPS, DSC, and NMEA 2000. This fixed VHF radio features a built-in 66-channel Class D GPS and a second station option. It includes NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 input and output, a large LCD display, and IPX8 waterproofing. It offers international channels and dual watch functionality. The handset allows selection of channels 16 and 9.

The Standard Horizon GX1850 VHF radio has a built-in 66-channel GPS integrated into the front panel, DSC calling, position sharing, navigation waypoints, navigation to a single DSC distress call, and easy installation.

Its NMEA 2000 connection is easy to use, allowing for plug-and-play GPS data and DSC calling between compatible devices with a single interface.

The Standard Horizon GX-1850 features an ultra-compact design, only 3.5 inches deep, nearly 50% shallower than other fixed VHF radios on the market. The WAAS GPS receiver and antenna are integrated into the front panel, providing flexibility for mounting in tight spaces.

The Standard Horizon GX-1850 can input and store up to 100 Waypoints. These waypoints can be selected and navigated to.

The Standard Horizon GX-1850 is an ITU-R M493 Class D VHF radio with a separate receiver dedicated to channel 70. It allows DSC call reception even while transmitting. When the DSC distress function is activated, it transmits a digital MAYDAY message that includes vessel ID, latitude/longitude, and time (when connected to a GPS) for a rapid response. You can easily share position information with other DSC-equipped vessels using the position request and notification functions. With just the push of a button, you can... Request the position of another vessel or simply send your position to the vessel that has selected you. The GPS position of a DSC distress call or position request can be displayed on a compatible GPS connected to the NMEA port. Additionally, the GX-1850 can be configured to automatically scan the GPS position of up to 4 stations.
