Solid-state pulse-compression marine radar for viewing coastlines, buoys, vessels and weather on a compatible Lowrance display. Its enclosed dome protects the mechanism and simplifies onboard mounting.

Functions and benefits

  • Dual Range monitors two scales simultaneously. Up to 60 rpm at ranges up to 1.5 nautical miles delivers a full 360° update every second. VelocityTrack Doppler colours approaching and receding targets.
  • Beam sharpening improves separation of adjacent targets. Harbour, Offshore, Weather and Bird modes; MARPA up to 10 targets per scale or 20 in dual range. AutoTrack requires compatible radar and display software.
  • InstantOn wake-up from standby and a magnetron-free transmitter. Actual detection depends on mounting height, target size, sea state and propagation conditions.

What is included

  • HALO radar scanner; 5 m interconnection cable; 1.5 m RJ45-to-5-pin Ethernet adapter and waterproof boot; four M8×30 bolts with flat and spring washers; two cable retainers with four screws; documentation.

What you need separately

  • Lowrance display supporting radar and a compatible Ethernet connection; not included. Check model and software: NMEA 2000 alone cannot carry radar imagery. Chart overlay and heading-dependent functions require suitable navigation data; check whether extra sensors and networking are needed, not included.
  • 12/24 V supply with 5 A protection, correctly sized wiring and a sound mounting base. An elevated or mast mount, sealant, cable glands and longer cable are selected for the boat and sold separately.

Installation and compatibility

  • Install with a clear 360° view, free drainage and at least 0.7 m from the compass. Align to the bow, set mounting height and display configuration, and follow exposure distances in the manual. Keep the beam clear of the roof and do not exceed 30 m of interconnection cable.
