Detailed description
♦ The AIS 800 transceiver helps to avoid collisions thanks to the possibility of tracking and contacting any vessel in the area through an MMSI number, being able to share information between vessels to improve safety and increase confidentiality at sea. The AIS 800 also uses ClearTrackTM technology, which ensures that the AIS traffic position is not interrupted while using the VHF radio. In addition, the AIS 600 is integrated with a Garmin plotter and a VHF radio using NMEA 2000, which offers the ability to initiate a call to any MMSI target directly from the plotter, by selecting the "radio call" function .
Simplified installation to the fullest
♦ The AIS 800 is NMEA 2000 certified and can easily be added to the existing Garmin Marine Network. Once installed, the AIS 600 is controlled by the plotter screen. You will have all the information you need at your fingertips, to make decisions with confidence. In addition, the AIS 600 includes an integrated active splitter that allows a VHF antenna to serve both the AIS 600 and any VHF radio, with minimal signal loss.
